She specializes in clean energy technologies, thermal energy systems, and sustainable infrastructure, with a proven track record in designing and implementing national energy policies and laws such as the National Energy Efficiency Action Plan (NEEAP) and the National Renewable Energy Action Plan (NREAP).
As a senior consultant and executive board member at the Lebanese Center for Energy Conservation (LCEC), Dr. Mortada has led high-impact projects on solar energy, energy efficiency and sustainable cooling, collaborating with international donors, governments, and private sector stakeholders.
